Compact and powerful, the Extech EX830 1000-Amp True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter with Infrared Thermometer provides the versatility of multiple meters in one convenient device. The EX830 measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, diode, continuity, frequency, and capacitance. It also includes a built-in infrared thermometer for detecting invisible hotspots, a DC Zero function, a Type K bead wire temperature probe, and True RMS to ensure accurate measurements without distortion from electronic devices. A large, backlit display allows for easy reading, while the ergonomically designed housing offers comfortable, one-handed operation.Multipurpose Meter in One Convenient DeviceThe Extech EX830 offers multiple functions so service technicians can carry only one meter into the field instead of several. The EX830 will measure both AC and DC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance, capacitance, diode, and continuity.
