It measures a wide temperature range from -60°F to 120°F (-50°C to 50°C), making it ideal for any climate range, and has precision made thermometer coils for accurate temperature readings. There is a protective cover over the thermometer coil to guard against water, grass clippings, bugs and any other debris that may affect temperature readings. The coil cover also lessens temperature swings caused by direct sun exposure. The thermometer is weather resistant and shatterproof so it can be left up year-round without worry of damage or inaccurate readings due to extreme temperatures.
